You don’t need the next big idea to be an entrepreneur. In most cases all you need is a little twist, tweak or change to make an idea fit for your situation or market. Sometimes all it takes is the ability to bring together a team that is dedicated, persistent and willing to beat the odds. I cannot emphasize the importance of a strong and persistent team from personal experience.

Entrepreneurs: Stop Innovating, Start Minnovating – Conversation Starter – HarvardBusiness.org: “In reality, the vast majority of real-life entrepreneurs around the world aren’t innovators. They’re minnovators — mixing small parts of novelty and creativity with huge helpings of flexibility scrappiness and a generous portion of hard-driving execution.”

(Via Harvard Business.)

The key thing is persistence, dedication and fearlessness to bring make an idea happen whose time has come. You don’t need the next big idea, you just need the idea that works in the right situation.
