Ontario Nonprofits Network is seeking an administrative coordinator to manage projects, conduct education outreach, create documents, run technology/internet communications and handle the general office.

Position Type: Part-time (3 days/week)
Some travel within Ontario and occasional evenings/weekends maybe required.
Salary: $24,000 – $26,000
This is a part-time position, over a 12 month period. This position will report to the Director.
Deadline: December 7th, 5:00 p.m.

About the Ontario Nonprofit Network (ONN)
ONN is a network of networks that helps to build communication and coordination amongst 45,000 nonprofit organizations working for the public benefit in Ontario. We seek to build the links across and between the sub-sectors and our goal is to strengthen these sub-networks. Our work is action-focused, creating opportunities for the emergence of new ideas, flexibly responding to opportunities and needs as they arise. www.ontariononprofitnetwork.ca ONN is an incubated project of the Centre for Social Innovation.

Responsibilities:

Project Management: Plan and coordinate projects at a detailed level, including: an annual 2-day conference, publishing newsletters, website maintenance/design, and fundraising projects. Execute
project tasks as needed.
Education and Outreach: Consider and propose enhancements to current engagement and communication strategies; implement approved changes; plan and coordinate annual webinar series.

Document creation: Assist with grant applications and reports; create and maintain marketing and campaign materials; proofread documents and revise/reformat documents to current standards; support volunteer committees with note taking.

Technology/Internet: Help staff, volunteers and clients use e-mail, e-mail groups/lists, survey tools, teleconferencing, social media tools (Twitter), and other online services that aid communication; directly use these and other systems to perform tasks as needed; work with
webmaster to ensure website is regularly updated.

General Office: respond to email and telephone inquiries; work with and support other staff and volunteers; provide training and support related to database and information management; organize and maintain resources and materials; other.

French an asset
